The beaches are very clean. We're sure you've been to a beach that was not. It's not at all a pleasurable experience. For several years in a row, Hampton Beach has been named one of the safest beaches for swimming because of its clean waters. And nothing beats living in one of Rye's Beach Neighborhoods!

And incredibly beautiful. Don't believe us? Just look at Rye's Sawyers Beach or Hampton's Plaice Cove when it comes to hidden gems and gorgeous waves.

Yes, you can surf here. If you are one to pull on the wetsuit (yes, you'll need it for sure) and catch some waves (or if your kids or grandkids are surfers), you'll be happy to know there are no less than four surf shops on the coast. Slick boards and, if you stop at Summer Sessions or Cinnamon Rainbows, great breakfast sandwiches by the beach are definitely available.
